• Obtaining the privilege of attending weekly Country Team meetings with the U.S Ambassador, Deputy Chief of Mission, and other section chiefs/officers of the Embassy.

• Learning the intricacies of processing visa and passport applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Observing and learning about consular interview processes, and providing support consular officers and associates.
• Understand protocols for providing consular assistance in emergencies and coordinating services for U.S citizens abroad. - e.g. Hospital visits, and prison visits.
• Constantly staying informed about changes in visa policies and regulations, and communicating updates to applicants.
• Developing cultural sensitivity in handling diverse consular cases and navigating challenges related to cultural differences.
