What I Lead

  • Human Resources - Oversee recruiting, ATS, payroll compliance, benefits, retirement, HRIS, reporting, safety compliance, policy writing, onboarding, orientation training, L&M, etc

What I've Done

  • Created Blew's HR Department from scratch. Onboarded a new HRIS system, overhauled the benefits structure, onboarded a new ATS, wrote the new 167 page company handbook, created all new offer letters and employment contracts, completely revamped all hiring practices. In 2020 Blew spent $300,000 on external recruiters. Did away with all external recruiters in 2021 and built a small two person team that helped take the company from 135 employees to 350 employees in one and a half years. Saving the company hundereds of thousands of dollars in recruiting fees.
  • Created new marketing department that created the new company brand, rebuilt the company website, created new company SOQ's, implemented new marketing strategies which included Google Ad words, print and social marketing.
  • Improved all safety policies and safety training. The new practices saved the company nearly $100,000 in insurance savings the first year.
  • Directed successful mergers and acquisitions that expanded company capabilities while minimizing integration challenges.
  • Improved employee retention rates through enhanced talent management processes and targeted professional development programs.
  • Developed the new company organizational structure and recruited three new C-Suite team members.
