  • Maintenance and modifications of corporate, commercial and military aircraft. Completed many C and D checks on DC8's,DC9's, DC10's, 707's,727.s,737's. Completed cargo conversions on DC10's for Fed Ex at Venice Italy, C9B,s for Navy at Miami and others. Converted DC10's to KC10's (air to air refuelers) for Dutch Air Force at Amsterdam. Completed many installations while at Gulfstream Completion Center and structural repairs at there service center. Completed earliest Super Critical Winglet s converting G2's to G2B's at KC Aviation at Dallas Love Field. The most challenging and rewarding work of my career was with McDonnell Aircraft Modification Team disassembling and reassembling vertical stabilizers on F18's working with engineers to solve stress crack issues at attach fittings.

Sheetmetal Mechanic

Converted Korean era H34 helicopters to S58T,s. Removed structure for original radial engine. Installed new structure using components and engineering drawings from Sikorsky kit to install Pratt and Whitney PT6 Twin Turbine and tranmission. Also modified tail rotor structure and installed new interior.
