Leadership
Texas Christian University- Leadershape
I, along with a large group of students and faculty, met for one week to participate in social activities and bonding exercises to help each of us grow into ethical and examples to lead by. Along with our one large group, we were also split up into smaller teams, to work together on multiple projects and activities, discuss each of our strengths and weaknesses, how we can improve as leaders, and encourage those who may feel unsure of themselves to become more involved and confident in their abilities to succeed in life.
Texas Christian University-Connections
I worked with several first-year students in techniques implemented to help us adjust to college life, as well as to provide helpful information and showing compassion and empathy to their needs as they settle into college life. We were encouraged to discuss with one another ways we could achieve our goals, while also developing as consistently strong and ethical students.

I participated in a large group to help students who may struggle with the rigors of college curriculum and help them be successful to graduate by being a mentor, friend and encourager. Starting out, I was assigned to an upperclassman, with whom I would have periodic discussion with regarding the development of student life on campus, and specifically, how he managed to grow and evolve as a student. As my college career progressed, I eventually became a mentor to lowerclassmen, and would assist them in helping them develop into leaders themselves. I would encourage them to build and maintain their confidence, as well as to become more involved with various college organizations and events.
Frog Corps
Throughout my four years of college, I participated in an all men acapella singing group providing entertainment to entire student body, TCU athletics, and TCU stakeholders and dignitaries. As I began, I would observe the upperclassmen singing abilities, and try to develop my own voice in a manner which was consistent with the vocal range I believed I fit in best. As I grew within Frog Corps, and new, lowerclassmen became members, I acted as a welcoming mentor and friend to them, encouraging them to develop their talents, and present themselves in ways which are inviting to their audiences, as well as newcomers after them.
