Org Leadership

I lead the design and research organization's roadmap planning process and OKR setting for an org of 115 designers and researchers. Additionally, I am responsible for managing our organization's budget, headcount, and annual planning. My team also handles all vendor contracts and relationships. I lead the redesigning process of the career expectations for all design functions.

Team Development

I transformed a Research & Design Ops team into an embedded program management team. This transition involved conducting a talent assessment, restructuring the existing team, and recruiting additional senior talent to enhance the team's skill set and capabilities.

Product & Program Achievements

  • Was the DRI to launch a new Instacart app information architecture. Defined the product execution strategy and lead a team of DPMs & TPMs to continuously identify and mitigate risks ensuring it launched on time.
  • Directly supported 4 generative AI design sprints to incorporate Generative AI first experiences into main app experiences.
  • Launched new planning and prioritization framework enabling the Design org to shift 25% of design capacity to projects on the 1+ year horizon supporting Instacart's biggest products bets.
