I manage both Primary Care and Urgent Care. I schedule appointments for primary care and check everyone in. When checking in, I pull and verify all insurance and copay. Once I have verified insurance, I collect copay and/or balance if applicable. I talk with patients on behalf of the billing department and try to help explain things for them. I check for medication lists for our primary care patients when they come in for their appointments. I advocate for the patients, whatever their needs may be.
I dispatched loads to the drivers for the day. I would balance which cars would match up with which load. I picked up and delivered parts for the trucks. I would load and unload the rollbacks once they came into the office when they needed to be rearranged. I maintained the office entirely; I did the paperwork for payroll and taxes.
