• I participated in M-SEA, an early intervention pre-college program that targets minority and female students and introduces them to the fields of energy, mathematics, earth science, biology, engineering, and health physics. This program is a branch of CDEP (Cooperative Developmental Energy Program)
• I am a member of Collegiate 100. The Collegiate 100 promotes a culture of academic excellence and implements programs that involve mentoring middle school and Leadership Academy students, campus and community activities, and scholarship programs.
• I like to play the drums for my church as well as play my bass guitar.
• I volunteer with Serve912 in my spare time.

• I graduated high school with honors, at the top 15 in my class of 320 students.
• My High School GPA was 3.74

• I plan to join NOBCChE or National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers.
• Next semester I will begin doing analytical chemistry research with Dr. Rocio Perez
• I also plan on joining the American Chemist Society as well as the Chemist club on campus
