Epilepsy Assistance in Relation to Autonomous Cars (Feb 2023 - Dec 2023)

• My research connected smartwatches, like the Embrace 2 and Apple Watch, to autonomous vehicles, allowing them to send a seizure signal to the car.
• Developed algorithms using EEG data and neural networks, documented in a paper submitted to the Columbia Junior Science and Inspirit AI journal, with ongoing work to assist epileptic drivers; this process is currently patent pending at the USPTO.

Skin Cancer Detection (May 2022 - October 2022) :

• In this research project, I developed and compared various machine learning models to detect skin cancer from images of lesions.
• Using a comprehensive dataset, I implemented convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and traditional techniques, detailing the methodologies and comparative analysis in a publication in Inspirit AI's science journal, highlighting their implications for future dermatology research.

ASL conversion model (Jan 2022 - March 2022):

• Developed a model that identifies which letter of the alphabet corresponds to specific American Sign Language (ASL) signs by refining a Google machine learning model for my use case.
• I'm pleased to share that it is now available on Hugging Face for further exploration and application.
