Keith Michael Baptiste

My name is Michael Baptiste and I am excited for the opportunity to apply for the Team Member position at Canton Car Wash. I have spent my entire life here in Columbia and I am a sophomore at Atholton High School. I have been very interested in cars since I was a very young boy and I have recently applied to the Howard County Public School Auto Mechanics Academy and hope to get into the program in the fall of 2024.

I am very knowledgeable about shoes and sportswear, and I can give customers good guidance and advice on what they are looking for or what they may want or need. I am a very hard worker and have a strong work ethic. I am a very organized, tidy and detail-oriented person. I also enjoy helping people find what their own fashion style and look is. I have had experience creating my own shoe collection and am passionate about street wear. I am an honor roll student at Atholton High and have played on the Junior Varsity football team for 2 years. I have played golf recreationally for 10 years and participated in the First Tee program as well as the PGA Junior league. These experiences have taught me the importance of working as a team and to work well with others.

I believe that I will be an asset to Champs in Columbia because I have a very good work ethic and work well with other people. I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to use my knowledge and passion for shoes and sportswear to assist customers in having a great shopping experience at Champs. I also am looking forward to learning new skills and learning more about the retail industry.
