I was introduced to a team, in 2022, through my church about mission work and I immediately jumped on the opportunity.  Every February or March, we go down to the Dominican. It is a very third world environment. Last year we built a school, visited local hospitals and prisons providing food and water and money as needed. We serve in any and every way possible to the local  Dominicans and Haitian refugees. We take the senior class of GHCA in Houlton, so I am now one of the team leaders on the trip that helps raise funds, organize and plan.
