
I have spent most of my career working with children. The last 13 years have been in the same school. I have covered many roles over the years from teacher to bus driver and food specialist to safety captain and team lead. I am wanting to move up in management and further my education.
As team lead I have performed management duties like opening and closing the building, collecting payments, and other record keeping activities. I have also coached my co-workers as needed to maintain a safe environment and policies. I ensure we follow licensing regulations.

I helped plan and organize Day Camp for spring break and summer. I recruited and hired staff and volunteers for camp to ensure ratios were kept. I organized buying the needed supplies and kept a budget. I oversaw the whole camp and made sure everything ran smoothly.
This was a seasonal job. I only worked here during the summers. I was responsible for planning and implementing activities for the camp. I also was responsible for groups of girls at various times. I would make sure they were all safe and accounted for and made it to the activities. This camp was a resident camp so all staff was responsible for the safety and well being of the girls for the week they were with us. Over the years working at camp I filled various roles. I started in the kitchen as a helper due to my age and then moved up to counselor. I moved to Program director for the last few years i worked here.
I answered phones and monitored alarm systems. Called emergency services as needed and put in work requests when alarm systems were not working correctly. I was also the weekend office manager. I would do deposits and create invoices.
