• Assist experienced flooring installers with various tasks like preparing surfaces, installing different types of floorings, maintaining a clean work environment.
• Use of hand tools.
• Ensuring the job is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

• Supervised a crew of 8 laborers, ensuring they were completing all of their tasks properly for job completion.
• Ensured the paver and the box was in working order prior to job start.
• Loaded paver with all necessary materials before leaving the stockpile to the job-site.
• While paving, ensure the right percentages of water, emulsion, stone and cement are being mixed together so the product dries correctly.
• Adjusted any amount of each material according to air temperatures, humidity and road surfaces.
• Made sure the application rate (thickness of road) was according to the contract of the job. Adjusted the box according to the roads structure.
• Fixed any breakdowns that might have occurred to the paver or the box while paving.
• While laying down the material, ensure all laborers are moving the material where it is needed and smoothing is correct.

During the winter at the shop:

• Service all equipment for the crew (trucks, broom tractors, lowboys, paver vans, etc.)
• Service included, but not limited to - Oil changes, brakes, lights, filter changes, greasing all bearings, etc.
