I love helping people it gives me great joy and pride.
All my life I wanted to help people in need. I had a friend who was very sick. He has a wife and 3 children. Slowly all their savings was disappearing because he couldn't work. His wife was working every job she could to make money to support them. I got this idea to have a bake sale to raise money for them. I wanted to think of something to make that was different for the bake sale. So I came up with Phatgirlz Brownies. I put them in my bake sale and they were a hit . I didn't stop there. I continued to have bake sales as issues came up in my little town, If a parent or child passed away I had a bake sale. I usually could raise $1000 for that family. I was in a local news paper and a youtube video was made about these awesome Brownies. But even Before Phatgirlz Brownies I would set up a Haunted House and charge a small amount of money or Took donations and would in return donate that money I made to the local food bank to buy turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have always been a single mom so finding ways for make money for people in need when I had no money was an issue. It was very important to me so I figured how to do it and I did it. I always say " If theres a will, theres a way" Now im 54 and in 2015 I decided to pay all my debts off including house and save a lot money and hit the road to travel the States and really love it. After two years I still love it, But i need to be productive and work to keep funding my travels and to continue with helping people in Need.
