I have been a Resource Specialist for 15 years of my career implementing a coteaching model. I was a Self Contained Mild/Moderate teacher for 5 years, also using a coteaching model, for grades 2/3 and 4/5. Throughout my 20 years of experience with LBUSD, I have also been a Home Hospital and a BTSA coach for new teachers in SPED for both LBUSD and CSULB. I have been apart of district teams to support curriculum and instruction such as the ILT, STEP, Literacy Team and the IEP Handbook team. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I have an Autism Authorization clearance and an Administrative Preliminary Credential, as well. I have 20 years of experience in Special Education and Coteaching. I consider myself an expert in closely monitoring student progress while implementing modern educational techniques into daily practices. I am committed to long-term student success through a well-rounded education.
