* Conduct assessments and treatment for speech, language, voice, fluency, and social language disorders at the middle school, high school, and occasionally at the alternative learning center and elementary schools.

* Compose and lead IEP meetings for students with speech/language needs, as well as for other students within self-contained classrooms.

* Compose and assist with implementing daily schedule and data collection for self-contained classrooms related to speech/language needs, as well as other IEP goals, behavior goals, and discrete trials.

* Serve as an advisor to school administrators in regards to special education (e.g., participating in interviews, scheduling daily routines for self-contained classrooms, collaborating with BCBAs, writing classroom IEPs and progress reports, parent communication, curriculum, etc.)

* Provide training to teachers related to behavior management, communication strategies, executive functioning, etc.)

* Provided speech/language therapy services as an independent contractor to local school systems (St. Clair County Schools, Gadsden City Schools, Haleyville City Schools)

* Preschool program evaluations, speech/language individual services, and classroom instruction

* Elementary, Middle, and High School speech/language services provided within speech/language room and classroom settings along with services in alternative locations as needed (homebound, alternative learning center, detention facilities, etc.).

* Supervised and managed approximately forty teacher/staff positions for the Early Learning Center (an inclusion preschool setting)

* Supervised and managed the after-school social enrichment programs, diagnostic evaluations and out patient services (speech, OT, psychology)

* Organized conferences and provided presentations for center-based events that involved instruction in the realm of Autism Spectrum Disorders

* Assisted with budget planning, fund raising, and financial management for the center

*Provided outpatient speech/language diagnostic and treatment services in the areas of speech, language, early language development, fluency, social language, oral-motor, etc.

* Supervised CFY candidates and graduate students in the area of Communication Disorders

* Consulted and collaborated with other related services both within the hospital and in the community

* Served as a founding team member of the Autism Treatment Clinic
