First year- taught fifth grade math on a three-person team promoting all students to sixth grade with the student’s state test scores growing over 20%
Second year- moved up with my students to teach Sixth grade growing the elementary to a K8 school; took the students on a field trip to Saint Augustine; students had second largest growth in state test scores in the school
Third year- moved back to a new group of fifth grade students teaching math on a four-person team
Most recent year- moved to middle school and taught my former students 8th grade pre-algebra; when the school grew during the year, transitioned from teaching 3 block groups of just 8th graders to 6 classes of 8th grade pre-algebra and 1 class of 7th grade math; state test growth of almost 30 percent
