The licensing case manager will help process the applications of individual sales agents and sales agencies that are applying to sell Legal and general life insurance policies. 80% of their work will be individual and processional - ensuring that all aspects of an application are present. Are all questions and materials provided and filled out properly, following up as needed, checking that standards are met and that everything is correct. This person will be responsible for submitting background checks, credit checks, and many other functions that go into vetting out a new agent, or renewing an agent. Candidates do not need to have previous life insurance or insurance experience, but must have a high attention to detail and the ability to excel performing repetitive tasks. 20% of the time this person will be getting on the phone and speaking with a prospective agent or current agent and gathering missing information or explaining what may be needed. This is a team of 11 and training is extensive so this person will have resources around them to help with the learning process.
Execute agent contracts, appointments, terminations, renewals and all other licensing related tasks to meet or exceed pre-defined productivity and quality standards. Complete other administrative duties and projects as directed by management.
Some responsibilities include:
Review new agent contracts for completeness and accuracy
Answer telephone calls accurately, courteously and with good customer service
Respond all voice-mails and emails in a timely manner
Setup agent records to ensure proper contract level and commission structures are entered
Request and review background reports to ensure individual and/or entity is within pre-defined guidelines of acceptance
Appoint all new agents with the respective state(s)
Index all documents in image queue accurately
Review state agent renewal listings to ensure agent is active and appointed
Terminate agent in system and send proper notification to agent/agency.
