Key Responsibilities:

Route Planning & Optimization:
Design and maintain school bus routes using routing software.
Optimize routes for efficiency, cost savings, and student safety.
Adjust routes based on enrollment changes, road conditions, or school schedules.

Data Management & Analysis:
Maintain accurate student transportation records.
Analyze ridership data to improve efficiency.
Generate reports on route performance and cost-effectiveness.

Communication & Coordination:
Serve as a point of contact for schools, drivers, and parents regarding transportation inquiries.
Work closely with dispatchers, school administrators, and transportation staff.
Provide route training and guidance to bus drivers.

Compliance & Safety:
Ensure routing plans adhere to district policies and state regulations.
Monitor bus capacity and make necessary adjustments.
Assist in addressing safety concerns related to transportation.

Technology & Software Utilization:
Use GPS tracking and routing software to enhance operations.

A School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities. They ensure the safety of all passengers, follow designated routes, and adhere to traffic laws and school district policies.
