I have worked as a generalist in chemistry, hematology, toxicology and urinalysis for the past 5 years. I have also been a preceptor to students and new employee hires. I have been primary operator on the Dade Behring Viva Twin for the past 3 years, which involves performing weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance, training employees how to use and maintain this instrument. I have over 5000 hours in charge tech or temporary supervisor duty. Which involves problem solving, scheduling, and handling any procedural issues that may arise. I have worked with computer software such as WIndows, Softlab, Sorian and briefly with EP evaluator .
I have worked on the Beckman Coulter LH750, 500 and the Dxh 800. The Roche Integra, & Cobas 600. The Sysmex CA-1500, The Urisys 2400, Radiometer ABL 800, Dade Behring Viva Twin, the Abbott I- Stats and Cardiac Triage Meters. My other duties while at CAMC is preforming CAP surveys through out the year, Inventory Control. I have also been involved in miscellaneous maintenance such as ABL correlations, precision studies and internal profinciencies. I have also participated in the CAMC Health Fest and serve as a committee member of Neuroscience Collaborative Practice.
