  • Upon hire at American Hi-Lift in May of 1992, there were no parts departments, or safety programs in place. I also began ordering, stocking, and restocking all needed parts. Within three years, I was entering work orders and replenishing parts for stores in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and South Texas. I have also saved the company numerous O.S.H.A. recordable incidents by closely monitoring and managing all injuries. I then utilized the knowledge and experience that had been acquired to pursue a career in construction safety. I spent the next three years of my career in construction working in the field pipe-fitting, hydro testing, working in confined spaces, commissioning, and start-up, then moved directly into construction site safety technician. I spent two years in that role, then transitioned into the corporate field safety manager role where I've been for the last four years.
