Loss Assignment consists of claims coming into different business orgs and we get them assigned to adjusters. There are may tasks will in loss assignment. You learn assigments for different products, once you become a SME(subject matter expert) you can assist with teaching new hires and managers. Assisting with questions or problems that need solved.

I had to set up claim from paper and call out for any info that may have been missing on the application for the claim. I learned alot and made mistakes.
