• CONSTRUCT CENTRAL UTILITY PLANT VA Medical Center, Dallas, TX Assigned Role: Project Superintendent (2022 – Present) Greenland is the CM responsible for renovating the energy center and cooling towers. The project involves adding one new 1,500 Ton centrifugal chiller and replacing six 1,000 Ton cooling towers. The cast-in-place concrete cooling tower basins are being expanded from six to nine. Sluice gates are being added to allow the basins to become a “common” basin for all six existing chillers and the one new chiller. All condenser water piping is being reworked to a common return header and basin supply. This arrangement will allow all chillers and cooling towers to operate independently of each other for maximum redundancy and backup. All ancillary equipment is being replaced to include new primary/secondary chilled water pumps, condenser water pumps, a new refrigerant exhaust fan system, VFDs, electrical, and new controls tied into the existing BAS system. Additional work includes select demolition, drilled caissons, site utilities, new underground piping, masonry, structural pipe and cooling tower canopy framing, access catwalks and decking, roofing, high-performance basin coatings, site grading, erosion and sedimentation control, landscaping, irrigation, asphalt paving, concrete curbs/gutters/sidewalks, and fencing.

• FUEL FACILITY REPLACEMENT Columbus Air Force Base, MS Assigned Role: Project Superintendent (2021 – 2022) Greenland is the MEP Coordinator responsible for replacing the fuel facility. The project includes the construction of a new fuel facility, which consists of three above-ground, horizontal, double-walled storage tanks (50,000 gallons each) with tank-mounted pumps, a filter separator shelter with receipt and issue filtration, truck fill stands, a truck unload, a product recovery tank, and associated infrastructure. The project also includes the replacement of the existing transfer pumps, which are located at the existing bulk fuel facility, along with other related mechanical and electrical modifications.

• REPLACE BOILER PLANT AND STEAM DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM Alexandria VA Health Care System, Pineville, LA Assigned Role: Project Superintendent (2021 – 2021) Greenland is the MEP Coordinator responsible for replacing the boiler plant and steam distribution system. The new/renovated boiler plant will include a boiler room with access to an equipment mezzanine and pit, chemical feed room with water testing area, control room, general storage, and electrical equipment areas. The control room will accommodate the energy control center and boiler control functions. Support areas will include a training/ conference room, office, generator room, electrical room, toilets/shower, housekeeping closet, and IT closet.
