• Concerns with the broken washer, leaking ceilings, improper handling and storage of sterile supplies, and lack of staff at the facility lead to my departure.

• Assisted in scrubbing and circulating complex pediatric open heart surgeries including: Norwood, Glenn, Fontan, Ross, Tetralogy of Fallot, ASD, VSD, AVSD, PVR, Vascular Ring repair, Arterial Switch, ECMO, and VAD.

• Provided intra-operative care for patients across multiple surgical specialties at a Level II Trauma Center.  
• Specialties included: Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, General, ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, and traumas.

2012-2014- Scrubbed and assisted in multiple specialties including general, GYN, and Urology, as well as an OR Front Desk secretary while attending Nursing school.

2014-2016- Circulated, scrubbed and assisted in Orthopedic surgeries including total joint replacements, shoulder and knee arthroscopies, ORIF's, and more.

2016-2022- Circulated, scrubbed and assisted in CVOR surgeries including CABG, MVR/AVR, CEA, AAA, vascular bypasses, Robotic assisted Thoracoscopies and endovascular procedures including TAVR, EVAR, TCAR, and angiograms with interventions. 

• Provided first assistance to plastic surgeons Dr. Desai and Dr. Fallucco during surgery by anticipating their needs and effectively supporting OR staff in preparing for multiple procedures including breast reconstruction and DIEP flaps. Demonstrated proficiency in suturing, dressing applicaton, tattooing and assisting in microvascular procedures.

• Prepared and maintained the sterile field, collaborated with nurses and anticipated surgeons' needs during procedures. Assisted in the Sterile Processing Department with cleaning and sterilizing instrumentation. 
• Multiple specialties included General, GYN, ENT, Urology, Ortho, Pain, Plastics, Vascular, and Podiatry.
