- Enhanced Reactor Reliability, Operability, and Safety through various projects and efforts
- Identified several process safety vulnerabilities that could have led to an environmental or safety related incident and proposed and/or implemented adequate solutions.
- Identified inadequate layers of protection within the Reactor Lockout Plan and Return to Service Procedure. Implemented procedural and process control changes to address the vulnerabilities.
- Executed a project to remove the Reactor Overhead Condensers that resulted in HES improvements and maintenance and process related cost savings.
- Identified the root cause of a process related issue with a pump in the VCM Recovery unit resulting in consistently high levels in the intermediate tank. Addressing this issue resulted in increased productivity and an increase in VCM usage efficiency.
- Determined primary source of ammonia fugitive emissions resulting in the need to purchase ammonia less frequently.
