- member of the 14 person ECMO Team; trained on both centrifugal & roller pumps, integrated CRRT fluid management, and with procedural algorithms for anticoagulation & flow.

- used to working full time hours with the addition of on-call shifts and emergent needs.
- practiced in all Intensive Care Units at CHCO such as the neonatal (NICU), pediatric (PICU), stepdown units (CPCU & PACU), and emergency department (ED). A core team member of the cardiac (CICU) unit.
- extensive experience with Spectrum, CardioHelp, & HL20 centrifugal ECMO pumps in neonatal, pediatric, and adult/teen scenarios. Roles of priming the ECMO pump (done within the golden hour response time to emergency pages) as well as bedside shifts during the course of the ECMO run.
- familiar with both VV and VA ECMO in a multitude of cannulation strategies; including neck, femoral, & open chest cannulations as well as various off the script combinations.
- thorough experience with rehabilitation of both VA and VV patients. Familiarity with long term ECMO patients, multiple cases of >6 month runs.
- trained & certified on PrismaMax and PrismaFlex CRRT roller pumps including priming & initiation, often running bedside CRRT in conjunction with simultaneous ECMO.
- Collaborated with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.

- NPS, PALS, & ACLS certified
