• Worked in a fast paced endoscopy unit caring for inpatients as well as outpatients
• Job duties include: preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to quickly assess and treat emergency situations as well as routine procedure work
• Communication between fellow Co workers, physicians and family members to safely care for the patient
• Knowledge of medications, side effects and interactions
• Care for patients of all ages
• Strong IV skills
• 12 years on current unit
• Certified through CGRN
• BLS current
• ACLS current
• Prior to this 9 years of bedside medical surgical nursing
• Earned med/surg certification during this time.

• Busy infectious disease/travel clinic working directly with a physician to treat and care for patients
• IV antibiotic therapy
• Dressing changes
• PICC flushing and care
• Travel education
• Lab/results follow up via phone and in person.
