• Complete head-to-toe assessments, conduct medication passes following the10 medication administration rights, observe blood transfusions and IV medication administration, exhibited skills including foley catheter insertion and venipuncture blood draws.

HCA, Conroe, TX: Women’s Services (Fall 2023 Rotation)

• Monitored fluid status and vitals routinely with maternal medication administration, assisted with maneuvers and position changes, and monitored fetal vital signs while on the Labor floor.
• Observed feedings, medication administration, oxygen administration, and therapeutic communication with family members on the NICU floor.
• Observed and assisted with newborn screenings, maternal vital signs and fundus checks, and discharge education in a couplet setting on the Postpartum floor.
