After working for Tops Friendly Markets for 2 years, I transferred to the scan department which is where i spent the rest of my time with the company.
In the scan department I was responsible for hanging new price tags for the store each week, making any signs that the store needed for products, and going to each department in the store to ensure the managers has the proper pricing and signage materials for their displays. As a scan clerk, the store depended on me to make sure every item had a price tag with the correct price on it in order to save the company from having to issue refunds. The scan clerk position taught me to be more self sufficient and i was able to perfect time management skills.
