  • September of 2023 I applied for a certified instructor position within my current company ALSO.
  • I was offered a position in January part time along side my residential manager duties.
  • April of 2024 a manager within our company resigned, I stepped in and retrained staff, rewrote individual support plans, ensured all paperwork was correct and sorted, and changed the atmosphere and culture within the home. While stepping into this new home within the company I still was performing my manager 2 responsibilities, managing 3 homes during this time. Which includes 8 individuals and 20-23 staff members at a time.

  • On top of performing direct support tasks, my manager's job duties included, assisting in managing individuals' money, working side by side with the Department of Disability services, assisting in writing and generating protocols for our individuals, and assisting in generating individual support plans.
