I am graduating this December with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am passionate about providing high-quality patient care, elevating patient and provider experiences and communication, and helping others to reach their health goals. Since February, I have worked as a Nurse Extern at Presbyterian St. Luke in the Med-Surg department until July when I transferred to Labor and Delivery. Here I was able to learn how to care for high-acuity patients and support women as they undergo the incredible challenge of pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. I am also a licensed massage therapist and am currently working at the Woodhouse Spa in Boulder. I have been a massage therapist for 5 years and it has taught me how to create a more nurturing, mindful, and holistic experience for my patients. I am interested in Aesthetic nursing because I have a strong desire to uplift others and help them feel their absolute best. Life is hard, and if we can encourage our patients to have greater confidence and improved self-image I know it will make all the difference in their life.
