I am an outstanding candidate for the Patient Care Technician position due to my extensive experience in both mental health and direct care for individuals with brain injuries. As a professional providing direct care to individuals with brain injuries, I was responsible for assisting patients with a range of daily activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while ensuring their safety and comfort. I monitor patients' physical and cognitive progress, helping them with rehabilitation exercises and therapies as directed by the medical team. Additionally, I provide emotional and psychological support to patients, offering encouragement during their recovery process. My role also included educating patients and their families about the recovery process and ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment to enhance the patient’s well-being and quality of life.
