Perform facilitation of daily operations at the Army Fisher House. This includes assigning/issuing of fifty-two rooms within four separate buildings in accordance with established procedures.
Responsible for performing administration and management duties. Perform clerical support to include using office automation software to produce documents, records management, and requisitioning office supplies. Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using computer workstations.
Perform quality checks and observations of buildings and guest rooms to include hourly fire checks.
Ensure the facility is presentable and in accordance with program standards and guest expectations.
Accountable for inputting work orders with the 502nd. Civil Engineer Squadron as well as J&J services for unscheduled and scheduled maintenance and repairs. Conduct daily follow up on work orders; inform supervision of any changes or delays.
Experienced in composing proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation while conforming to proper use of formats.
Efficient in office automation and variety of software that includes word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Calanders, email. Demonstrate flexibility and adjust when the situation dictates.
Conduct informal guest satisfaction surveys and work with Fisher House Manager to improve services.
Maintain room keys and issue to personnel as required. Maintain active spread sheet of all personnel assigned to the Army Fisher House.
Conduct ID checks on all personal checking into the JBSA Army Fisher House.
Escort personal within the Fisher House facilities.
Receive and document donated items. Activate and monitor gift cards.
Receive donated monies from supervisor and make deposit into the Brooks Army Medical Center Broadway Bank account.
Make recommendations to Fisher House Manager on ways to improve operations and processes based on trends and occurrences in rendering customer service and/or reviewing data and information.
Provide guidance to staff, peers, and leadership. Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of my responsibility.
Work weekly with volunteers and donors. Resolve a variety of Army Fisher House problems at the lowest level by assembling facts, evaluating information, and drafting reports and answers to correspondence.

Recreation Assistant

Make reservations and take payments for authorized patrons based on the availability of rental equipment such as boats, campers, grills, camping equipment and utility trailers. Serve as a clerk, utilizing a Point of Sales System for both credit and cash payments. Provide customer service and ensure all customers are treated in a professional manner. Ensure that all patrons are aware of the policies and procedures for renting equipment. Conduct safety checks on equipment and facilities on a daily basis and report any unusual conditions to supervision, as well as assist in maintaining the facility grounds and equipment to include mowing and weeding.

Duties include but are not limited to the following. Knowledge of safety and environmental guidance and regulations to ensure compliance with established programs. Review stock levels, gather inventory data and report status to supply technicians for reordering.
