Manage the construction of a $60 million dollar research facility at NSA Panama City for the Navy. Oversee an onsite staff of 4, all offsite support staff, as well as all subcontracts and purchase orders. The project includes over $6 Million Dollars in concrete construction.
Managed change orders, schedules, billings, projections and other controls for the new Stellantis-Samsung SDI Battery Manufacturing Facility in Kokomo, IN ($2.8 Billion). Managed a staff of estimators, schedulers, and accountants. Member of the Senior Management team. Developed and produced reports to assist the management team and owner to successfully complete the project.
Managed large federal projects for MW Builders. Managed subcontractors and self-performed concrete, masonry, steel erection and installation of doors, frames and hardware. Managed budgets, contracts and the design build process.

Managed three large project for Whitesell-Green. The total value for the three projects was over $110 million dollars. Managed a staff of 15 individuals and subcontractors (at the peak of construction there were over 400 subcontractor employees on the project sites daily). Negotiated changes with the owner and subcontractors, managed budgets and schedule. Performed training as needed.

Performed preconstruction services and construction management work.
Managed all construction for NNAC in Texas. Managed all estimating and business development for Texas operations. A majority of the work was at Fort Hood. Projects ranged from small task orders to contracts over $4,000,000.00. Average profit and overhead at the end of projects was over 15%. Managed 2 project managers, 12 superintendents, office staff and my own projects and estimating/business development.
Managed estimating department for NASCO. Managed 2 estimators and support staff. Coordinated proposal creation and made presentations to owners. Projects were located throughout the US and as far away as Puerto Rico. Significantly increased sales and profits during my time at NASCO
Managed preconstruction department over large structural projects. Projects included multiple story parking garages, residential towers, waste water treatment plants and other types of construction ranging in value from $500,000 to $30,000,000. Wrote estimating procedures and updating/building structural estimating database
Prepared takeoffs and estimates and wrote proposals. Administered site meetings and walk-throughs for pricing purposes. Obtained bids from vendors and subcontractors to make cost-effective selections. Analyzed blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
Taught construction courses in the construction management technology department. Courses included construction management, estimating, computer applications, heavy equipment management, estimating and structures. Coached a student team which placed third at Nationals in 2009 at the AGC National student CM competition (Heavy Civil).
Worked on a variety of design/build, negotiated and hard bid projects. Estimated large self-performed concrete projects. Built conceptual estimates and design build estimates. Worked closely with owners, architects and contractors. Negotiated and wrote contracts with subcontractors and owners. Assisted project team throughout construction. Projects ranged from $2,000,000 to over $130,000,000. Used Timberline, excel and On-screen Takeoff.
Performed a wide variety of estimating and project management. Self performed concrete construction. From conceptual estimates to hard bid projects. Utilized Excel spreadsheets as well as Precision Estimating software by Timberline and Timberline accounting. Worked on a daily basis with present and potential clients. Worked with local designers and developers performing constructability and cost analysis services. Work included industrial and commercial work.
