I am a highly motivated employee with the desire to learn more about retail. I am very social and welcoming, as well as interpersonal. I am eager to help wherever I can in any way. Fashion and shopping are two things I enjoy most, so I know I would be a helpful employee in this environment. Lastly, I am a very quick learner and can pick up new skills easily.
For my senior internship at St. Anne's Belfield, I worked for Maxine Clifford at Purvelo Cycle. I helped the social media and marketing team advertise their business around Charlottesville. As a result, I learned the impact that successful marketing and social media engagement have on a well-run business. Additionally, as a young woman, I was inspired to learn from Maxine Clifford about the skills and resources required to start a business at a young age.
Last spring, during my Junior year, I had the opportunity to be a wreck league lacrosse coach for young girls. As someone who will play high-level Division I lacrosse next year in college, I was ecstatic to teach and excite the next generation of young athletes about lacrosse. Sharing my passion for the game and my leadership skills with the girls strengthened my coaching abilities. Additionally, sharing the coaching position with another person taught me valuable lessons in teamwork and cooperation.
