Point Quest Education is a company that operates a network of non-public schools, providing services to students with complex behavioral needs

• Provision of direct services to wide varieties of students, including a diverse range of abilities, diagnoses, and behavioral needs
• Consultation with IEP team members, including but not limited to: teacher, administrator, occupational therapist, physical therapist, program specialists, and other district personnel to create comprehensive and functional educational plans for any given student
• Managing caseload that primarily is working on functional communication skills through various communication modalities, such as utilizing AAC devices or picture icon communication systems
• Maintaining vocabularies on communication systems/devices through programming on applications such as TouchChat and created icons using SymbolStix for low-tech AAC users
• Providing supplemental services campus wide, including whole-class language lessons, which often include collaboration with occupational therapy service providers
• Logging therapies into comprehensive billing systems
• Collaborating with numerous Central California school districts on IEPs, usage of SEIS, AAC evaluations, and overall service delivery.
• Completion of AAC evaluations for students with familiarity in device feature matching
