I feel like I am a good fit for this position because I have such a love for animals and children. I personally have a ball python, 2 dogs, and until recently I had 4 goats. I have lots of experience taking care of animals with feeding, grooming, and most importantly, loving them. I have babysat my cousins many times and have helped at times with children at church. I am currently taking classes and participating in extra curricular activities to further my knowledge and experience so that I can become a vet in the future. I have participated in Leadership Development Events (LDE) which has allowed me to learn different skills in preparation for becoming a vet, such as subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. I am also enrolled in a vet class in school where I learn about the different breeds of animals and their behaviors. This will allow me to better understand each type of animal and how to best take care of them. Another aspect of taking care of them includes their health and nutritional needs which we are also learning and practicing. These are the reasons I feel I would be the best fit for this position.
