Kendra Peterson

Through my healthcare journey, I have had the opportunity of working among doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants in both an urgent care and cardiology setting. While working as a clinical assistant, I assisted in preparing exam rooms for future patients, handled specimens to lab, transported used medical equipment, stocked rooms, and assisted patients and providers when needed. As a cardiology scribe, I document cardiac histories and physical exams in real time, record findings from cardiac diagnostics and tests, prepare and update patient charts, ensure accurate provider documentation and orders, and coordinate with the care team to support efficient patient workflow. Together, these positions strengthened my clinical knowledge, documentation accuracy, and ability to work efficiently within a healthcare team.
