Kenia Avalos

My name is Kenia Avalos.

I am currently working for Visual Pak.

I will be 5 years working for Visual Pak in February 2026.

In 2019, I started in the quality department at the ABF1 building, and I'm still in the same department, but I have knowledge of many positions, such as documentation, component inspection, label inspection, and also the ability to train other people for quality or other positions. I have received training for all the positions mentioned, and I have gradually learned many new things.

I have knowledge of documentation, which is what provides quality assurance for production. I also have experience inspecting components and labels, all of which are for production. In 2022, I was transferred to the Bridge building, where I had the opportunity to train people in the quality department. But they keepet me there, I had the ability to essentially be in charge of the second shift for quality control in Brigde. And whenever quality control or production had any questions, they would come to me. I also held the position of documentation specialist. There I learn how to work with videojet and some of the machines with production.

In November 2025, I returned to ABF1 on the 3rd shift. I had the opportunity to be trained to be able to do the quality QMRs, which are for all the pallets that quality puts on hold for production.

I am also in charge of documentation and pending tasks that are left for me to complete.

I truly have a lot of knowledge in quality but also in production, because working in quality also teaches you a lot about the production department.

And I feel that I learned much more when I was in the Bridge building because when I was on the 2nd shift, I had the responsibility of being in charge of the shift, and whenever quality or production had a question, they would come to me. If I didn’t know the answer, I would find out, but they always had a response from me. And that was where I learned even more, by knowing the answers to what production asked me.

But I have more than 5 years of experience in quality and production, since in my previous jobs I have always worked in the quality or production department. I have also had the experience of working as a line lead in my previous jobs.

This is what I have learned during this 5 years I have been with Visual Pak. But honestly, I would like to have the opportunity to be a production coordinator since I believe I have experience in quality and production.
