From November 2022 until May 2023 I was a barista at Scooter's Coffee before I got promoted to a shift lead. As a shift lead, I was expected to lead daily work shifts, ensuring the team followed store procedures and maintained a positive, efficient work environment. While also Opening and closing the store as required, overseeing cash handling, safety protocols, and cleanliness. While being a shift lead, I was expected to train and mentor baristas, offering guidance on product preparation, customer service, and time management. Finally, I ensured that operational standards were met during shifts, including inventory checks, product quality, and customer experience. Recently, starting in October 2024, I was promoted to Assistant Manager. As an assistant manager, I am expected to collaborate with the store manager to create weekly schedules, ensure adequate staffing levels for efficient store operations, manage inventory and place weekly product orders, maintain optimal stock levels, and minimize waste. The manager and I also oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service and smooth execution of tasks during each shift. I provide coaching and support to team members, including training new hires, conducting performance evaluations, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

• Administered prescribed medications to residents following their individual care plans, ensuring timely and accurate delivery at designated times.
• Assisted residents with daily activities, including preparing for the day and bedtime, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitored residents for any changes in condition or medication side effects, reporting concerns to the nursing team or management.

Working at Deco Products was a different experience than I was used to. My job at Deco included:

• Hung parts on a continuously moving production line, ensuring proper placement for uniform coating during the powder coating process.
• Inspected parts for quality and worked with rework items to ensure they met company standards, making necessary adjustments for optimal appearance and function.
• Assisted with packaging finished parts for shipment, ensuring secure and accurate packing to prevent damage during transportation.
• Collaborated with team members to maintain a smooth workflow, minimize delays, and meet production goals.
• Adhered to safety protocols and company procedures, ensuring a safe working environment and reducing the risk of accidents.
