I grew up in Clovis California all my life. I played soccer also for my entire life and just as a freshman I became the captain of the high school soccer team. Being a captain as a freshman it's very intimidating because everybody looks at you to be a role model at such a young age which took a toll on me but also showed me how responsible and hard-working I became from that. All my life I was taught about loyalty and my dad used to tell me that 1 ounce of loyalty is worth a pound of knowledge. I always take that into consideration because I wondered what was so good about being loyal. The older I got I understand that trait of just being loyal can get you further in life than a lot of other things
Currently, in the state of Arizona, I work for a company called Zen Shuttles. Basically, what Zen shuttles does, it is a golf cart company that drives Arizona State students and anyone that lives near the campus places safely from the hours of 9:30 AM – 2 AM. I really love this job because I have met amazing people picking and dropping off at certain places. It really taught me how to communicate and be more efficient in the things I'm doing
At McAllister's deli, I worked here for the summer it was one of the shortest jobs worked at but that doesn't mean I didn't learn valuable lessons and skills that I could use to this day. At this job, I worked as a food runner and a cashier. I learned that I need to be efficient with money and customer service. It helped me understand people's point of use when they come into our deli. It's best to make a great impression and make sure they know that they can trust us
At YOSEMITE RANCH I worked as a hostess and a food runner for more than a year before I left for college. This job has taught me patience and to connect with older people in this world. One of the things that I love most about this job was all the amazing things I learned while working there. For example, I learned to trust my teammates and work well with other people that are trying to help me become better. It's important to understand and listen to people around you because some things are better when you work together.
Some of my accomplishments I talked about earlier but I have to be leading my team to the championships in my freshman year of high school. I was up against a lot older girls than me but it wasn't about the age that I learned it was how hard you worked. Even if you get knocked down you have to get back up. No matter if anyone else is telling you to stay down there and just give up you have to get back up for your team and mainly for yourself. Overall, that year I won most valuable player because of my accomplishments of never giving up on my team and most importantly myself.
