Kenneth Cross

• I founded this website in 2015, as it is the home of many stories and features on different games and coaches, and players inside the game. It also began with the "Marching to Madness" college basketball contest in which Blake Lovell of "Southeastern 16" worked as co-host through the first 640 shows. Later, I put this on YouTube, where I hosted coaches on Zoom. I also edited the show before putting it on the site.

• My college basketball work in the preview magazines includes Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, VCU, Charlotte, and Davidson. Conference previews include Southern, CAA, Southland, and Big South conferences.
• Currently, in the college football preview magazines, I analyze Charlotte, East Carolina, James Madison, and Marshall. In addition, I preview the overall look at both college and NFL football in the states of Florida and Georgia.
• I also write game stories, previews, and features for the website, www.lindyssports.com with a concentration on SEC and ACC stories.

* Remote position

• I covered college and professional basketball and football in the Carolinas, Georgia, Virginia, and Florida. The Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Charlotte Hornets, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers were the major teams I covered in the 23 years plus SEC and ACC basketball and football are teams I covered. The job entailed in-game updates plus coordinating post-game guests with the studio. I provided descriptions of the various games to create an immersive experience for readers who could not attend games themselves.

• Taught English throughout Charlotte and Iredell County, generally in grades 11-12, but I also had grades 9-10 at some points and theatre and writing classes. I taught academic, advanced, and AP-level courses throughout my career. Earlier in the 1990s, I taught in Virginia and Kentucky before settling in North Carolina.

• These jobs were similar to the work on ESPN Radio with the updates and post-game interviews. All of these situations were remote and in stadiums and arenas where I delivered authoritative sports coverage with careful attention to game facts, stats, and predictions.
