- Once all materials are on site the job requires pipe preparation.
- This includes cleaning of pipe, testing of pipe, and welding of pipe.
- Once all these steps are completed that's when you hydro test all the pipe and install the pipe in to its designed location.

- This requires but not limited to installing and maintaining new or existing natural gas services.
- Once the gas has enter the building or home, you are required to go inside and check for any and all gas leaks.
- Once you have determined that there are no gas leaks inside the structure, you can light and test all appliances.
- Once all appliances are lit and tested, you are to fill out a job sheet saying what all appliances were inside the structure and how the job was before you got there and how you left it.
- The biggest thing with natural gas is being sure that the house or business is left completely safe from all leaks or flames.
- You also have to do late calls which require you to meet with the customer and get a clear understanding of what issues they are having.
- Once the issues have been determined, you are to try to resolve all issues as safely as possible.
- No matter what the issue is, at all cost the structure has to be left 100% safe before completing the job.
