During the time at american brush my job is to troubleshoot the machines and make sure they run as good as they can all the time. When a machine is not being used we spend the time to TPM the machine and make sure it does run later. I am also supposed to fix anything on or in the building not just the machines , to include dock plates and install WiFi and racking for materials. When you do have to work on the machines you are tasked with ordering the parts to make it whole again and then keep track of the inventory so you will always have parts in stock for next time.

While i was at Sturm ruger my job was to help the operators with the day to day operation by making things easier with new ideas to make their job moreefficient. The machines were pretty abused and run for 20 hours a day so their wasn't alot of time for TPM's but when you did have time you took the time to do it then. My job was to make sure that the machines were running and this included checking oils and making sure the coolant levels were at the proper amount. When the machines did malfunction i had to troubleshoot and fix as needed and get up as soon as possible. During my time their i had to install new machine wire them with power and make sure that i dropped air for that machine.I was also a member of the move team , so when another line would get a machine you had to move the machines in and work in their line to make sure it gets up and running quickly.
