Starting out as a new graduate RN in the CICU at VCU Health system , I gained a solid foundation in critical care nursing that has opened many doors throughout my career as an ICU nurse. I have gained a wide variety of skills and acquired a great deal of self awareness in the ensuing years , gained via invaluable clinical experiences at a variety of facilities to include small community hospitals to level 1 tertiary care facilities. I cherish all of those experiences as they have prepared me well for new challenges , both clinically and professionally.
