Started my career at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials operating an automated robot making plastic tubes for the automotive industry. Used basic computer skills and note taking skills to record hourly actions of the material. Had to pay constant attention to detail to make sure temperatures were in the correct range and be sure of good quality control guidelines while using proper PPE to ensure safety. Transferred to the grinding department in July 2020 placing plastic rods of various thickness and lengths through the grinders holding a specific tolerance. Using LOTO procedures I was required to properly set up machine making required adjustments for current diameter rods being ground. After being ground rods needed inspected for quality control purposes to be free of cracks or dirt ensuring quality standards. Daily production standards were expected while staying safe and wearing proper PPE. April of 2023 transferred to the annealing department which required operation of 17 annealing ovens with different temperatures and oven cycles depending on what materials were going in a particular oven. Daily checks with recording documentation of temperature and cycle progress were required twice per shift paying close attention to details. Changing out carts full of materials using a forklift when requirements were met with cycles complete. Once the materials were completed cool they were able to be unloaded and the next batch could be loaded and staged for the next round.

Worked on the family dairy farm doing all the duties a dairy farm entitles. Running heavy equipment daily to work the fields and feed the animals. When something would break was up to us most times to fix it. I was taught maintenance skills along with manufacturing skills. Learning how to weld, do plumbing, basic electrical work, along with proper usage of mechanic hand tools. There was a wood shop on location which allowed me to learn carpentry skills with cutting, sanding, and finishing wood projects. Working with animals along with milking twice per day paying attention to cleanliness and sanitation of equipment to ensure highest milk quality possible was a must. Taught me work ethic and responsibility at an early age.

Started here as a window and door fabricator. Building high end thermally broken aluminum commercial and residential products. Job entailed proper PPE, reading blue prints, using hand tools, forklift use, over head crane usage, along with team building skills as most times multiple people were working on the same order. Communication was critical. I was on safety committee for 2 yrs. Became a team leader from 2015 to 2018.
