Conscientious, Analytical, Intuitive, Helpful

My interest for science and technology led to a natural fit into the geotechnical, construction and geologic disciplines. My employers respect my eagerness to learn, attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot on the fly as well as the mentoring of new personnel. Clients would often ask for me by name to be present on their projects. As my field experience increased my inspection duties expanded to roofing, landfill construction, asphalt and road refurbishment and specialty inspections such as building envelopes, bridge inspections, structural steel, roof leak and foundation failure investigations. I am a firm believer in continuing education to learn new skills that I can then bring to an employer thus expanding that firm's inventory of professional services.

Qualifications

I am experienced with managing, evaluating, sampling and testing road and bridge construction materials such as concrete, reinforcing steel, soils and aggregates as per AASHTO, ASTM and VTM. I have worked with previous employers to prepare labs for CCRL and ACOE inspections in Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia. I am an excellent report writer using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to present test and field data to my employers and clients.
