  • Through team building, team leadership, planning, production leadership, and lean manufacturing principles we took the plant from 6 months back orders to 90% on time delivery in 7 months
  • On the eve of shutdown for the Cedar City plant I maintained Lean Manufacturing principles, designed and implemented the layout for the new facility in Salt Lake City, while keeping operations running smoothly in the Cedar City plant
  • Using standard EHS principles and gaining employee buy-in through training and incentives, lowered the LTI and recordable incidents by half by the end of the first year.

  • Maintained the level 1, 2, 3 control systems for the “L” blast furnace resulting in no unplanned outages due to control system faults.
  • Increased customer satisfaction with products by ensuring consistent quality across all platforms and devices.

  • Wrote and implemented a maintenance and inventory program in Microsoft Access that was used for the first seven years of operations and was used to backup SAP after its implementation until the plant was closed in 2013.
  • Proactively identified areas for process improvement, driving increased efficiency throughout the organization.
