Work History
Telecommunications Technician
Direct Tower Services
Gastonia, North Carolina
05.2025 - Current
I am currently working as a tech 2 as a third-party contractor doing AT&T upgrades in the KY/TN market. I have completed the NWSA with one of the highest scores in my company. I have received all certifications required through Safety LMS/Comtrain. I have had my OSHA 10 since 2016. We are currently involved in LNA throughout the KY, TN, and IN areas. However, I shine in many areas beyond landing, antenna, and flying a power trunk. My true passion is steel! I enjoy rigging, stick building, NSB's, crane work, and tower stacks. I am respectful, reliable, dependable, and intelligent. I believe in good quality work, as well as a good laugh. I am friendly, cooperative, and high-spirited. Very crew-oriented. The perfect fit for any crew that enjoys laughing as hard as they work.

Telecommunications Top Hand
Gulf Services
Hendersonville, Tennessee
06.2018 - 10.2022
As a top hand for Gulf Services, we were involved in many projects, including new site builds, tower stacks, drilling for foundations, a wide variety of civil work, microwave work with Duke Energy, and even camera poles throughout Alabama.
As a top hand, I was responsible for the safe operations and construction of every project we did. From safe and effective rigging, training new hands, reading and interpreting blueprints, all the way down to ensuring the crew had a nice hotel to stay in and clean laundry to wear. We were not a crew; we were a single unit that operated like a piece of equipment. Many strong components, a few nuts, and always fired up, ready to get the job done.
My experience outside of telecommunications assisted me every day. I'm a diesel mechanic, I'm a carpenter, I'm an iron worker, and I can build forms and pour concrete. I've spent my entire life working in the construction industry and the mechanic industry. I am fluent in tools, rigging, and maintenance. Familiar with both A/C and D/C electrical systems.
