Accomplishments

  • Achieved an improvement of 27% in getting shipments to the Government on time by my second month at SECO. The previous 18 months we had on-time shipments of 68% and the next six months we have averaged 95% on-time due to introducing Asana to track the orders. I used my Project Management and Agile skills to help the Government department keep track of orders, know what status each one is in, and leadership had the option of being able to message me for any questions that they had about a particular order.
  • Supervised teams between 4 and 30 people over my 15 years + management career.
  • Successfully helped launch the 2 biggest projects at 2 companies I worked for. I worked as a Business Analyst at Augusta University and I was added to Project Unite, which combined the Philanthropy gifts for the hospital, the medical school, and Augusta College before they all merged to become Augusta State University. I headed up the software that we used, which was Raiser's Edge and I trained over 100 colleagues on how to use it.
  • My very first project as a Project Manager at Rural Sourcing was for UPS, which was the biggest client that the company had. They were disappointed in the performance of the last consultant company that worked on creating websites that they used internally to determine how many packages could go on each truck type and what was the most economically feasible. The project lasted 3 years and the websites that I managed were all implemented and employees at UPS were very impressed by the improvements.
  • My first job at RSI was writing Crystal Reports for Pfizer in Laboratory Information Analytics (LIMS), which also happened to be the most profitable client at Rural Sourcing at the time. I quickly moved from creating customer reports and was added to the development team where I developed templates based on client requirements and used LIMS Basic, which is similar to SQL, to create subroutines. I also helped train the rest of the team on how to create these, as the subroutines were a vital part of creating the Crystal Reports. Within a year I was one of two leads on the project, which turned out to be one of the most successful projects Rural Sourcing has had.
