- Planning, coordinating, and execution of activities under the auspices of the DOD Field Studies Program (FSP) IAW the objectives of JSCET AR 12-15
- Assist in developing, implementing and directing the FSP program providing IMS an awareness of and appreciation for internationally recognized human rights and the American democratic way of life
- Disseminates DoD wide-procedures and instructions for implementing the FSP for international military students participating in training programs under JSCET
- Prepares lesson plans, information fact sheets and materials for individual reading and study that further the program objectives
- Assists in completing monthly reports and forwards to higher HQ on DODFSP activities and expenditures
- Coordinates and monitors the sponsorship program
- Recruits and assigns IMS to military and civilian sponsors
- Under the supervision of the Field Studies Mgr., maintains status of funds, prepares reports in preparation of budget for FSP activities
- Analyzes problem in student training, travel, billeting, graduation, etc., and determines and recommends solutions
- Provides assistance to the IMSO on matters of academics, studies, and recommends action to the IMSO for all student training problems
